4. John McCracken m. Esther - Joseph Peden m. 2nd Rebecca Driver.
John McCracken (1755-1817) was a private in the 5th Pennsylvania [p.43]regiment under Col. F rancis Johnson. He was born in Donegal; died inWashington County, Pa.
Joseph Peden (1758-1850) served as an artificer, 1776-81, under Capt.Peregrine Jones, Colone l Smyser's regiment. He was born in LancasterCounty; died in East Finley, Pa.
