Individual Note: The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution Volume 9page 26[p.26] Mrs. Frances Wood Fisher.DAR ID Number: 8066 Born in New Hampshire. Wife of G. W. Fisher. Descendant of Eliphalet Wood, of Massachusetts. Daughter of Jonathan Wood and Jane Moore, his wife. Granddaughter of Eliphalet Wood and Martha Tilton, his wife. Eliphalet Wood was just of age when he fought at Bunker Hill. He served in the Jerseys, Rhode Island, at Stillwater, and was at the surrender of Burgoyne. The close of the war found him ill from the hardships he had endured.
