     Died 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, 1995, in an automobile accident on Highway 104 in Mamou. She was 75 and a resident of Ville Platte. Visiting was held at Ardoin Funeral Home, Ville Platte, 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel, 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Ed Wilson and the Rev. Gary Van Horn. Graveside services in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Montgomery. at 3 p.m. Friday. Survived by a son, Richard Tilton, Ville Platte; a daughter, Mrs. Linda Stewart, Sylacanga, Ala.; three brothers, R.L. Luther, Baton Rouge, James and Ezra Luther, both of Many; and four grandchildren. Her husband, W.O. "Bill" Tilton, died Wednesday, February 8, as a result of the automobile accident.      Funeral services for Willie Emma Tilton were held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, February 20, 2000 in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Winnfield, LA. Officiating was Rev. Nathaniel Young and Rev. Glyn Morton. Burial followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Montgomery, LA. Mrs. Tilton, age 75 of Montgomery, passed away Friday, February 18, 2000 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA. She was a homemaker and a native of [sic and] resident of Montgomery. She is survived by two sons, Cecil Olan Tilton and Vernon L. Tilton, both of Wheeling, LA; two sisters, Bessie Lawson of Montgomery, LA and Ethel Lawson of Winnfield, LA; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Individual Note:
     Funeral services for Mrs. Permelia I. Fowler, 85, of Route One, Montgomery, were held today at 3 p.m. at Mount Zion Cemetery near Wheeling. Mrs. Fowler was a lifelong resident of the community in which she was reared. She passed away yesterday at the home of her son near Montgomery after an illness of several weeks. Final rites were conducted by Rev. T. A. Brown of the Methodist Church, Mt. Zion. Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield, was in charge of the arrangements. Surviving are two sons, Sam and Frank, of Rt. 1, Montgomery; one daughter, Mrs. Lela Tilton, Atlanta; one stepson, T. W. Fowler, Route 1, Montgomery; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
