Peter Weare and Mr. Joseph Chase were chosen a com. to stop lumbering on the commons. He became a Friend, not so his wife. Lists 396, 392b. He d. 12 Jan. 1717-8. Will 14 June 1704, codicil 19 May 1716, names w. Rachel (Partridge, m. 31 Dec. 1671), who d. 27 Oct. 1718, and ch: Anne Sinkler, Elizabeth Hilliard and Rachel Freeze, and more of interest. See N. H. Prov. Papers xxxi. 526. Ch: Hannah, b. 5 June 1672, d. 10 June 1674. Elizabeth, b. 11 May [p.139] 1674, d. 8 Sep. 1675. Jonathan, b. 14 May 1676, drowned at Currituck 1 Feb. 1696.
