Nathan Tilton, (1755-1805), enlisted as a private and served in theBurgoyne campaign. He wa s born in East Kingston; died in London, N. H.
[p.156] William Hayes responded to the first call for troops fromSanbornton and subsequentl y reƫnlisted to take the place of his sonWilliam. He died in service at Ticonderoga.
